Sophie Marsden is an experienced, versatile Actor, Writer and Director based in London, UK.

Sophie trained at Identity School of Acting before enrolling East 15 from where she recently graduated. Both courses are made up of rigorous actor training for screen, stage and voice-artist work, all the while preparing in full on how to become a lasting creative professional. She has developed skills in devising, clowning, improvisation, voice-over & narration and has studied in-depth, Stenislavsky, Laben, Meisner and Mamet techniques during her training. She is familiar both with contemporary and classical work.

Her most recent acting credits includes the short film ‘Immodest’, which made the top 8 selection for Straight 8 2025 and premiered at both Festival de Cannes and at the BFI IMAX in London, and the UK & Ireland tour of the original stage play: ‘The Good Women’ for which she was also director. She is an advocate for creating your own work and opportunities as an Actor, and is passionate about collaborating with fellow performers to bring previously unheard voices into the storytelling of today.
